Australia with love

Here I am…just back from an awesome Australian east coast tour.
Everything started at the Melbourne Ukulele Festival and it was a blast, certainly one of the best uke fest I have to be in…
Musically, so diverse, open minded, fun and well organized…and , some highlight for me : —Benny Chong, incredible jazz ukulele master from Hawaii, who give us an incredible show with a unbelievable bass player he met just before going on stage…FABULOUS.
And when Mr Chong come to you, and said he liked your own performance, that made your day, believe me.
-Liz Wood, a young songwriter from Concord, Massachusetts, she blow my mind with her original songs, fresh and beautifully sing and play, my own festival “découverte” …

Another Highlight of this fest was my meeting with Amanda Palmer, I was like crazy…finally I’m a fan of somebody ;)

So, my HUGE thanks to all the people of MUK who organize this festival, it was perfect, and of course, especially to DEAN DENHAM who give me the possibility of be there, I will never forget that.
AND to Betty France for hosting us in her Factory, let us invade her home for shower and breakfast !! ! !

Then I would like to thank all our host during the OFF THE RAILS tour :
-Helen (actually her sisters) in Sydney for this pretty apartment with this terrasse where we had great time stay.
And all the people at the Sydney Uke East, to be a great workshop audience.
-Belinda, Bruce, Celeste and Archie in the beautiful farm in Wingham where we had so much fun, good food ans drinks, clear starry nights and gorgeous landscape.
-The audience in Taree West Bowling club and especially Tara-Joy Burton, Dave Elith.
-Jeanti St Clair and the Lismore ukulele Club…
-Michael Connor for his hosting on his fabulous house, feeding, “beering”, and driving
-Ukemullun, Gold coast ukulele, Lismore Ukulele club and Planet Music for the show at Bangalow…what a big stage we had.:)
-Room 60 in Brisbane
-Angus and Lisa in Brisbane.
-the Sunshine Coast Ukulele master , especially Lynne Dand and Geoffrey White, a special thank to Peter Flaskas for the Kangourous :)

Please, my apologize if I forgot someone…everybody was so nice with them during all this trip…

AND, last but not least all my love and friendship to Bosko and Honey…you gave so much, thank you, thank you! ! ! !

That was an incredible experience…I really hope to be back soon and share music and passion with you all Aussies buddies…and THANKS for the VEGEMITE ;)

LOVE AUSTRALIA !!
